If you save the chat to the cloud, it will only save chats that were sent to everyone and messages sent while you were cloud recording. If you save the chat locally to your computer, it will save any chats that you can see-those sent directly to you and those sent to everyone in the meeting or webinar. Acknowledgement of reading and understanding the University's FERPA guidelines for recording any online lectures and classes is required. ITS recommends sharing of recordings be done by posting direct links in Laulima. Recordings will be viewable/accessible for the duration of the semester for which they occurred. Cloud recordings may be accessed through ITS' UH Zoom Recording Service. Direct access to the Zoom's Cloud Recording portal is disabled. Please note the current system requires you to login using the UH account tied to your Zoom account. University of Hawaiʻi faculty or staff must have a Zoom account licensed through ITS. Service is available to active University of Hawaiʻi faculty or staff.
